The European Microfinance Award ceremony is the culmination of a year-long process to select the winner of an Award which, since 2006, has been highlighting excellence and innovation in a particular area of financial inclusion. In 2020, the EMA focused on 'Encouraging Effective & Inclusive Savings'.
